Artifacts tell the story of a culture. Every family is it’s own unique culture.

Things do not define us or our families. Yet the things we touch everyday, the things we surround ourselves with and fill our homes with contain volumes of our histories through different seasons, ages and places. I am in love with photographing the things in our homes that reveal the fingerprint of the human life lived within it’s walls. It’s often not until years later we understand the significance of these artifacts and the way they serve as time capsules for our lives.
